Inspiration
Pie in the Sky was partially inspired by the excellent documentary Startup.com, the true story of two friends who start a dot com called GovWorks, as well our desire to order a delicious Cinderella's pizza without having to pick up the phone. Crazy idea, huh?

Pie in the Sky won the Best Film, Best Screenplay, and Audience Choice Awards of the 2003 Boston 48 Hour Film Project.

Technical Details
Pie in the Sky was shot on Mini-DV with a Sony PD-150 and edited on Final Cut Pro. Graphics and titles we created using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects running on three embarrassingly old Macs.
